Every member of the body of Christ plays a unique and important role – even the parts that don’t hear, see, feel, think, talk or behave the way the other parts do. Access exists to engage individuals with special needs and their families in the teaching, fellowship, and ministry of Grace Fellowship Church.
Access operates on the "buddy system," pairing each child or young adult with a volunteer who works one-on-one with them throughout a Sunday morning at their level of ability and in their least restrictive environment. We also have age-based Access small groups that meet during both the 9:15am and 11:00am services. At Access, individuals with special needs meet new friends, experience worship and teaching, serve alongside other GFCers, and learn about Christ's love for them through new and creative ways.
Access also hosts Joy Prom, an annual spring event for families to enjoy a night out together. Other seasonal activities are held throughout the year.
