building a community to reach a community

Getting married is an exciting time in your life! GFC desires to assist couples (i.e., one man and one woman) in establishing Christian homes. Our wedding guidelines reflect this goal, which is grounded in Scripture. Below you will find all the information you need to have your wedding at, or through, GFC.

Hosting Your Wedding at GFC

  1. Please review the Wedding Guidelines so that you are aware of GFC’s expectations prior to submitting the application. Please be aware that the cost for weddings at GFC varies depending on the room/venue selected. The deposit to secure your date is $100, and the rest of your bill must be paid 30 days prior to the event date.
  2. Complete the Wedding Application form below; selecting what services you are looking from GFC and the date(s) you are looking for. Please keep in mind that we require all couples being married by a GFC pastor to go through premarital counseling with us, which takes 6 months. Your deposit payment must be received before the facility can be reserved.
  3. Please allow ten (10) working days for your application to be processed and approved. When approved, the facility will be reserved and the date will be placed on both our Master Calendar and on the officiating pastor’s calendar. You will receive a confirmation email when your application is approved.
  4. Once your application is approved, you will be assigned a wedding coordinator. All facility, programming, and other wedding-related information will be handled from this point forward by the Wedding Coordinator. The Wedding Coordinator will contact you to find out more specifics and will schedule you an interview with someone from the Worship Arts team to discuss Audio and Visual needs for your wedding
  5. You will receive instructions regarding your premarital counseling
  6. The Officiating Pastor will schedule meetings with you as needed to prepare for the wedding. These meetings will begin approximately two-three months prior to your wedding.

Having a GFC Pastor Officiate Your Wedding

If you would like to have a GFC pastor officiate your wedding, please fill out the Wedding Application form below. All couples being married by a GFC pastor must first complete our premarital counseling before marriage. You can indicate your interest in Premarital Counseling below. The GFC Pastoral staff will only conduct weddings where at least one of the people planning to wed is a member of the Grace Fellowship Church body.
